{"id":135483,"date":"2023-09-02T18:52:37","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T22:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=135483"},"modified":"2023-09-02T18:52:37","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T22:52:37","slug":"2023-10-what-is-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/2023-10-what-is-love\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 #10 What Is Love?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Such a broad question.<br \/>\nShould it be though?<br \/>\nDo people\u2019s concept of love vary<br \/>\nso much that there isn\u2019t one definition?<\/p>\n<p>Universal ideals and thoughts.<br \/>\nEven a list of words to describe it.<\/p>\n<p>Love is dependent on the individuals involved.<br \/>\nParent towards a child.<br \/>\nThe child for their parents. <\/p>\n<p>The intimate love between two people.<br \/>\nVersus the love between two friends.<br \/>\nOr the love of something that does not love back.<br \/>\nAn object of some significance.<br \/>\nLove of a pet and the pets \u201clove\u201d back.<\/p>\n<p>The depth of love varies,<br \/>\neven among the various types.<br \/>\nOne couples love of each other,<br \/>\ndiffers from the next. <\/p>\n<p>The one thing love always is,<br \/>\nthe immense pain it can cause<br \/>\nwhen it is broken.<\/p>\n<p>Heartache and raw emotion from its loss.<br \/>\nIs that why we often<br \/>\n\u201cdon\u2019t know what we have, until it\u2019s gone\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t cherish it like we should,<br \/>\nwhen it\u2019s around?<\/p>\n<p>Love is great,<br \/>\nuntil it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Such a broad question.
