love love love love<\/p>\n
love is all you need<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
When I consider love, I think they were right.<\/p>\n
I think the most important love is for ourselves<\/p>\n
because we project how we feel onto others.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
How we feel is how we act.<\/p>\n
If we feel mad and angry, we treat others<\/p>\n
that way. But the reverse is also true.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If we want to love someone else<\/p>\n
we need to first love ourselves.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This goes beyond carnal love into loving our home, our garden<\/p>\n
and our neighbors and their neighbors and the next town and country.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Which brings up a directive that seems obvious: If you\u2019re angry don\u2019t act.<\/p>\n
If you feel love consider acting but not always\u2026gotta be discriminate.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But love is also little things<\/p>\n
like Colleen laughing when I pretended<\/p>\n
to be a big awkward bird flapping his wings<\/p>\n
when I snuck up near her at lunch today.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Or thanking me for compromising and changing the<\/p>\n
way we pack things and the floor matt configuration<\/p>\n
in our campervan.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And sending the email to a mutual friend that neither of us<\/p>\n
wanted to do while I was busy writing poems.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Love is being able to be comfortable when you let down your<\/p>\n
guard and are the person that very few outsiders get to see.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Love is also being able to be still with each other and being<\/p>\n
