a delight when we came upon wooden paths<\/p>\n

Nature showing off All Her Beauty<\/p>\n

Summoning us through an arch of trees alit<\/p>\n

by early morning light<\/p>\n

we come across<\/p>\n

a circle of deer startled and standing still<\/p>\n

when they saw us emerge from the road<\/p>\n

mamas with fawns<\/p>\n

with big brown eyes<\/p>\n

cuter than Bambi<\/p>\n

a circle of mushrooms<\/p>\n

in the morning dew<\/p>\n

a folklore fairy ring<\/p>\n

evidence that<\/p>\n

magic exists<\/p>\n

my eyes cast downward<\/p>\n

looking for rock hearts<\/p>\n

the tangible evidence<\/p>\n

of Divine Creator<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we continue to walk hand and hand<\/p>\n

on that path they always talk about\u2014<\/p>\n

the one least travelled<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we gambled almost thirty years ago<\/p>\n

married young<\/p>\n

statistics stacked against us<\/p>\n

at times rocky paths then<\/p>\n

ending in smooth valleys<\/p>\n

this is what magic<\/p>\n

this is you and me<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(for my college sweetheart I married May17, 1995 when I was nineteen and he was twenty one \u00a0each without a family joined together to bring forth our own that became complete with Natalia Grace eighteen years ago )<\/p>\n
