To have a holiday in the tropics<\/p>\n
For one thing the sea is always warm<\/p>\n
To swim, to paddle and dip your toes in.<\/p>\n

Once I went to the Bay of Bengal<\/p>\n
In a quaint ancient place<\/p>\n
Called Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu<\/p>\n
In had so many ancient rock carvings<\/p>\n
And Temples – so much to see<\/p>\n
There used to be seven ancient temples<\/p>\n
The sea swallowed six and one is left<\/p>\n
Full of carvings, Mahavishnu having<\/p>\n
A rest at the feet of his beloved has slept<\/p>\n
For many centuries.<\/p>\n
The food is excellent in small cafes.<\/p>\n
With a synthesis of music playing.<\/p>\n
We should all go to Mahabalipuram<\/p>\n
Once to see what we are missing.<\/p>\n
