{"id":135991,"date":"2023-09-02T19:40:32","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T23:40:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=135991"},"modified":"2023-09-02T19:40:32","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T23:40:32","slug":"taking-a-risk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/taking-a-risk\/","title":{"rendered":"Taking a risk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am where &#8220;Frost&#8221; was with only one pathway.<br \/>\nAnd I had to choose<\/p>\n<p>I saw a beautiful green pathway, with shrubs<br \/>\ncovering both sides.<\/p>\n<p>Light is filling the front of the pathway, and<br \/>\nmakes the whole scene to look like part of<br \/>\nheaven.<\/p>\n<p>The back of the pathway is totally dark, and<br \/>\nmakes the scene frightening&#8217; like an abyss<\/p>\n<p>I sat there for a long time thinking to move<br \/>\nforward or return to where I felt safe.<\/p>\n<p>Finally I decided to move forward to explore<\/p>\n<p>That has been the story of my life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am where &#8220;Frost&#8221; was with only one pathway.
