Coffee cup, what do you think<\/span><\/p>\n

of your creation?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You could be anything<\/span><\/p>\n

Your amorphous design<\/span><\/p>\n

Built to be held and admired<\/span><\/p>\n

Molded by dreamers, to hold dreams\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Coffee cup, will you ever tire\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

of your own variety?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The fluttering wakefulness of<\/span><\/p>\n

three sips of coffee<\/span><\/p>\n

The splattering strokes of\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

an inspired painter<\/span><\/p>\n

The fumbling pen of a\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

musing poet<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Coffee cup, how do you feel\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

witnessing the love in my home?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In our daily ritual we choose a different\u00a0 cup\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Worthy of our essence today<\/span><\/p>\n

For him, a beaming smiley face<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, a terracotta sun<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Coffee cup, will you bring me joy<\/span><\/p>\n

when I\u2019m sitting at the edge of tomorrow?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Although tea is not within your name<\/span><\/p>\n

You do our family the honorable<\/span><\/p>\n

Service of warming the chamomile<\/span><\/p>\n

To chase away the bad dreams<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Through your scalding\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
