Prompt 12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once upon a time, my dear,<br \/>\nPeople didn\u2019t have TVs or video games<br \/>\n(pause for gasps).<br \/>\nWhat did they do of an evening?<br \/>\nRead? Talk?<br \/>\nYes, a little of both but after 1935<br \/>\nPeople who had a radio listened to Fibber Mcgee.<\/p>\n<p>What is listening, mother?<br \/>\nRadio is like TV \u2013 but with no screen.<br \/>\nHow did you know the story?<br \/>\nWhen people listened to Fibber Mcgee and Molly<br \/>\nThe only clues to the story was<br \/>\nThe voices of the actors and<br \/>\nSound effects. So when Fibber Mcgee<br \/>\nOpened the door to his very stuffed hall closet<br \/>\nEverything fell out with a cacophony of sounds,<br \/>\nBells, whistles, falling tin cans and bangs.<br \/>\n(This is interesting, dear),<br \/>\nEveryone pictured a unique closet<br \/>\nWith different things falling<br \/>\nOn distinctive floors.<\/p>\n<p>While we listened in common<br \/>\nEach of us had our own Fibber Mcgee\u2019s closet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once upon a time, my dear, People didn\u2019t have TVs or video games (pause for gasps).
