Some of us like to hide from others, the world or even oneself,<\/p>\n
we can hide in books, or even with others, always being the<\/p>\n
one who questions, not the one who answers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Hiding is second nature for some<\/p>\n
beginning in childhood with games of hide and seek.<\/p>\n
Where to go? in a low cabinet, under the piano,<\/p>\n
or in a closet out of sight.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Why are we hiding? Difficult to say.<\/p>\n
Like the proverbial Frost poem<\/p>\n
depends upon who you’re fencing in<\/p>\n
or who you’re keeping out!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We all have secrets, that’s not news<\/p>\n
So why all the fuss? To each his own,<\/p>\n
to keep oneself free from scorn<\/p>\n
is enough for me.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But the best place–the very best place<\/p>\n
is there for all to see but not understand.<\/p>\n
