{"id":136734,"date":"2023-09-02T20:21:49","date_gmt":"2023-09-03T00:21:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=136734"},"modified":"2023-09-02T20:21:49","modified_gmt":"2023-09-03T00:21:49","slug":"what-garbage-is-and-isnt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/what-garbage-is-and-isnt\/","title":{"rendered":"What Garbage is; and isn\u2019t"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hour Twelve !!!!! <\/p>\n<p>What Garbage is; and isn\u2019t<\/p>\n<p>Garbage is litter, deadwood, rubbish, and trash.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s stinky, rotten, mushy, and junk.<br \/>\nGarbage is scraps of debris, refuse, and waste.<\/p>\n<p>It isn\u2019t pleasant, aromatic or useful.<br \/>\nIt can\u2019t be recycled, reused, or fixed up.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s messy, dusty, gross, and just plain yucky.<\/p>\n<p>Garbage is leftovers, someones scraps, leavings, and slop.<br \/>\nMade up of compost, odds and ends, bits and pieces, of this and that.<br \/>\nGarbage is scummy residue, remnants of spoiled cheese, poop, and remnants.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s definitely not recyclable, an asset, nor valuable.<br \/>\nGarbage isn\u2019t a \u2018catch\u2019, a \u2018prize\u2019 or fine possession.<br \/>\nNot considered as wealth, clean, or pure.<\/p>\n<p>Garbage is garbage is garbage and nothing more.<br \/>\nIt isn\u2019t worth keeping, won\u2019t increase in value, become rare, or priceless.<br \/>\nGarbage is just junk, offensive, substandard, and insufficient.<\/p>\n<p>But.<\/p>\n<p>Rotten garbage can be useful, provide nutrients to plants and lawns.<br \/>\nSalvageable bits and bobs turned into artwork, a motley collection of this and that.<\/p>\n<p>And yet.<\/p>\n<p>Garbage is unacceptable, inadequate, shoddy, and wanting.<br \/>\nUnusable, unsuitable, a mishmash of rabble and riffraff.<br \/>\nGarbage is waste, unwanted stuff we throw away; nonsense, hogwash and drivel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hour Twelve !!!!!
