I\u2019ve had a lot of time to
\nthink about you in the
\nyears since we last spoke
\nnot all of it bad, yet, not
\nall of it good either<\/p>\n
There was a time when
\nyou were my best friend
\nalways there to listen,
\nbut never to judge
\nI miss that about you
\nsometimes<\/p>\n
This world is so judgmental
\nthese days
\nI don\u2019t understand it<\/p>\n
Like the time when I was
\nin my 20\u2019s and I was convinced
\nthat I needed to die because some
\nguy didn\u2019t like me.<\/p>\n
You didn\u2019t let come home with you
\ninstead, I found things to occupy
\nmy time-
\nyou said someday, I could come home
\nwith you. Thank you<\/p>\n
There were also the times where I
\nhated your guts, where you could
\nhave taken me home with you and
\nI was like NOPE.<\/p>\n
what was rude as hell is that you
\ntook my parents instead. I guess it
\nhad to happen sometime<\/p>\n
I only have one reason for writing
\nthis letter, dear death.
\nand that is to tell you <\/p>\n
I don\u2019t need you anymore
\nI have a reason for living even
\nthough my life hasn\u2019t exactly turned
\nout the way that I planned, and I didn\u2019t
\naccomplish nearly anything near what
\nI wanted to as of yet-<\/p>\n
Everyday, I am accomplishing more and
\nmore of what I want and what is best for
\nME. Even though, I have no idea what it\u2019s
\ngoing to look like in the end- It\u2019s mine and
\nI intend to have it<\/p>\n
So I\u2019m sorry friend- You aren\u2019t part of
\nmy life any longer. I will always be
\ngrateful for the lessons but I don\u2019t
\nneed the teacher anymore. <\/p>\n
