{"id":137729,"date":"2023-09-02T21:50:05","date_gmt":"2023-09-03T01:50:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=137729"},"modified":"2023-09-03T08:16:57","modified_gmt":"2023-09-03T12:16:57","slug":"hour-4-slowly-catching-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/hour-4-slowly-catching-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Hour 4 Slowly Catching Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gotta really focus for awhile now!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Hour 4<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are states always and some days I wish farther<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Most friendships end either explosively or slow<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And yet I was able to fade quickly\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And it\u2019s not really you<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nor is it really me<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But it\u2019s us<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And for us I was changing in a way that you weren\u2019t<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And I realized that with my changes I was tired<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tired of the same conversations\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tired of being ignored<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tired of being first and last on your list of friends<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tired of you not getting it<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I haven\u2019t hated you<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But I don\u2019t love you anymore<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And that might be the kindest thing I can do for you now<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gotta really focus for awhile now!
