Hour 13<\/p>\n
“I am a writer”, I tell them
\n“That’s great” they smile
\nBut they still ask what my profession is!
\nAnd so, I started teaching<\/p>\n
I stood inside the classroom
\nBooks and chalk in hand
\nI was greeted by chaos and paper planes<\/p>\n
I tried teaching them english and math
\nBut they had different plans
\nThey taught me life is not easy!<\/p>\n
They ran around the class
\nDoodled my caricatures and
\nSang loudly when the principal was passing by<\/p>\n
But the day, I really opened my heart
\nAnd bent my ideals to match their innocence
\nAnd sang and danced with them
\nWe became one class; Class 3A<\/p>\n
Amidst the mayhem, we found laughter and camaraderie
\nI felt fortunate to witness
\nYoung minds taking flight
\nI became a learner too
\nI learnt teaching is a comedy show
