Deeply<\/p>\n

I tell them I am a haunted house<\/p>\n
Not one you visit on Halloween<\/p>\n
But a house<\/p>\n
That is actually<\/p>\n
Haunted<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I nurse the kind of wounds<\/p>\n
That don\u2019t come from weapons<\/p>\n
That can\u2019t be healed in hospitals<\/p>\n
The kind that MDs try and fail to medicate<\/p>\n

I tell them I am a healer<\/p>\n
Doing my work one dagger at a time<\/p>\n
Carving pieces of people away<\/p>\n
Because how else are you supposed to<\/p>\n
Find where the hurt is<\/p>\n
Except to show them their own heart<\/p>\n
