In restaurants we discuss<\/div>\n
our plans for the week<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Always seeking these places<\/div>\n
to absorb mounds of tasty fat<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
New health plans that satisfy<\/div>\n
our sense of self-obligation<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But nothing has changed in our lives<\/div>\n
not yet at least<\/div>\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/div>\n
Though the real question is<\/div>\n
have you reached your goals<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n
it is pondered, with a head scratch<\/div>\n
if I have any at all<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I raise my fork (not sure if it is the right one)<\/div>\n
over the plate of Nagamese Pork Curry<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Dramatically I perform a theatrical stab<\/div>\n
and the fork lands in the eggplant pomodoro<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
a long string of noodle flings itself<\/div>\n
to the neck of my companion<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It wraps around her beautiful nape<\/div>\n
as she grasps her desperate throat<\/div>\n

\n
\n
\n
<\/div>\n
She chooses to scream<\/div>\n
but the sound comes out in aria<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Der H\u00f6lle Rachehe rings the rafters<\/div>\n
there is not a dry eye in the house<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I commended her on her performance<\/div>\n
and she stared at me in rage<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

in denial of her chameleon act<\/div>\n
from black evening dress to velvet robe of ruby<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I also mentioned the awe she drew<\/div>\n
as well as the odd look of annoyance<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
She looked at me in query, and I then explained to her<\/div>\n
some think you are encouraging witchcraft<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I decided to gather the repast to my eager lips<\/div>\n
ignoring her plea for fame<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I wasn’t quite sure why she wasn’t enthusiastic<\/div>\n
regarding the fine cuisine before her<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
