Poem 17.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Kaleidoscope (a four stanza tanka)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Lemme shimmy down <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">get a better view from there\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">or a different one <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">than I&#8217;ve been holding fast to <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">a lighter one than lately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Lemme turn the wheel <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">look for fish shapes, Moons, and Suns <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">and pink, rough cat tongues<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">hanging from triangular <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">blue and purple kitten heads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Lemme see through shards <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">of wildly vibrant glass shapes. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Let them form tall trees <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">and lighted backed sharp prisms<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">to set me back on my path.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Lemme skry my tales <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">of futures to remember <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">of plans made before <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">coming here to live them out,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 22px\">how my new roads will wind down.<\/span><!--\/data\/user\/0\/com.samsung.android.app.notes\/files\/clipdata\/clipdata_bodytext_230902_192807_404.sdocx--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>7pm.
