You, too, as reader, like the cat murdered by curiosity, will be affected by reading this story, you have been warned.<\/p>\n<p>It was a long time ago,<\/p>\n<p>Somewhere,<\/p>\n<p>On 18th street,<\/p>\n<p>A young Mother to be named Hortensia<\/p>\n<p>Walks the sidewalk<\/p>\n<p>Hands Tangled with his.<\/p>\n<p>They kiss.<\/p>\n<p>Thinking of names<\/p>\n<p>Like Melony or James<\/p>\n<p>Or Angel or Grace<\/p>\n<p>Or Cielo or Antonia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apartment is cold.<\/p>\n<p>The couple is poor,<\/p>\n<p>But love in their eyes<\/p>\n<p>A lovely surprise,<\/p>\n<p>To see loving people<\/p>\n<p>Whos love is that strong<\/p>\n<p>They are right to be wrong<\/p>\n<p>And right\u00a0to belong<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a bond that not many can make<\/p>\n<p>And others are outthere who made a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>And faces that hate<\/p>\n<p>Stuck with their fate<\/p>\n<p>Plate after plate<\/p>\n<p>They ate and they ate<\/p>\n<p>but they never will sate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The neighbor named Kate<\/p>\n<p>A cradleless mate<\/p>\n<p>Who lived with mistake<\/p>\n<p>After fatal mistake<\/p>\n<p>She had a miscarriage<\/p>\n<p>That ruined her marriage<\/p>\n<p>Her husband, assaulted,<\/p>\n<p>rude and embarrassed<\/p>\n<p>Said,<\/p>\n<p>we&#8217;re ruined as parents.<\/p>\n<p>Abandoned and left her<\/p>\n<p>A fruit with no nectar<\/p>\n<p>And thats when<\/p>\n<p>the devil<\/p>\n<p>began to affect her.<\/p>\n<p>became like her mentor<\/p>\n<p>at times would torment her<\/p>\n<p>and made her<\/p>\n<p>A depraved sexual offender<\/p>\n<p>she looks for the tender<\/p>\n<p>who dont let her enter<\/p>\n<p>she walked to the home of<\/p>\n<p>Hortensia and Vector,<\/p>\n<p>She entered a woman<\/p>\n<p>and came out a mother<\/p>\n<p>a baby in blankets<\/p>\n<p>all bloody and bandaged.<\/p>\n<p>She died hours later<\/p>\n<p>Pedestrian found her<\/p>\n<p>on 18th and Walker<\/p>\n<p>Alone in the street.<\/p>\n<p>And Kate was arrested<\/p>\n<p>Death by injection.<\/p>\n<p>Charged with 3 murders.<\/p>\n<p>Awaiting her death.<\/p>\n<p>September the 2nd<\/p>\n<p>1998,<\/p>\n<p>the night when it happened,<\/p>\n<p>they say, that on 18th st,<\/p>\n<p>many have heard the cries of a baby.<\/p>\n<p>and in Chowchilla Prison,<\/p>\n<p>Inmates say they still hear the sounds of the lady<\/p>\n<p>who cried every night, til the day that she died.<\/p>\n<p>Inmate Katelyn Lee Hodges, age 45.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your time,<\/p>\n<p>I am narrator Melson with an M,<\/p>\n<p>Not like Nelson with an N.<\/p>\n<p>Goodnight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(This was a catchy title, was it not.)
