I don’t want to live up to anymore expectations,<\/p>\n

I really don’t have the heart,<\/p>\n

to pick up any more of your broken pieces,<\/p>\n

when I’m the one who fell apart.<\/p>\n

I wish you could make this one moment about me,<\/p>\n

but the world revolves around you,<\/p>\n

you say who I am is a lie,<\/p>\n

but that’s further from my truth.<\/p>\n

Our loved ones predicted I’d be on your path,<\/p>\n

but I’m not and you still live in the past.<\/p>\n

I’m projected to go forward,<\/p>\n

those times were never meant to last.<\/p>\n
