Every night before I go to sleep I replay every mistake in my head<\/span><\/p>\n

Hindsight is 20\/20<\/span><\/p>\n

All the should\u2019ve, could\u2019ve, would\u2019ves on instant replay<\/span><\/p>\n

What could I have done differently?<\/span><\/p>\n

As if I had the power to change anything<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe if I was more of this or maybe if I was less of that<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe then you would\u2019ve wanted me, maybe I could\u2019ve made you stay<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the right thing to say to stop you from walking away?<\/span><\/p>\n

As if I had the power to change anything<\/span><\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t change you, you couldn\u2019t change me<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh but I tried to change me<\/span><\/p>\n

I twisted and contorted myself to try and fit into something that you could love<\/span><\/p>\n

I bent myself into something I no longer recognized, someone I no longer was<\/span><\/p>\n

It did not make you want me more, I could not be what you wanted<\/span><\/p>\n

As if I had the power to change anything<\/span><\/p>\n
