Once I’ve finished my normal\u00a0waking day,<\/p>\n
It’s time for it to give way<\/p>\n
To something far more spectacular –<\/p>\n
As they would say in the vernacular:<\/p>\n
It’s time to get down to business –<\/p>\n
There are plots to be finished<\/p>\n
And dreamscapes to revisit,<\/p>\n
New adventures on the astral plane<\/p>\n
A choice from the menu –<\/p>\n
Lucid or unconscious?<\/p>\n
Preparing the venue<\/p>\n
For\u00a0 absolute calmness<\/p>\n
So I can be sure to harness<\/p>\n
Every spark of magic<\/p>\n
My day-life –<\/p>\n
Just a mere shadow<\/p>\n
Of the existence<\/p>\n
I’ve created with persistence<\/p>\n
At the Imaginarium –<\/p>\n
An entire universe of my own creation,<\/p>\n
Where I can take delight in every temptation,<\/p>\n
Discover new pleasures without cessation,<\/p>\n
See a new world through tight closed eyes<\/p>\n
Renewing my citizenship at every surprise<\/p>\n
And I never want to leave…<\/p>\n
Sometimes I even try to weave<\/p>\n
The normal waking world in with my dreams,<\/p>\n
But I’m always woken by defeat<\/p>\n
Once again exported<\/p>\n
From my dreams<\/p>\n
And I emerge thwarted<\/p>\n
By a disease<\/p>\n
The call reality –<\/p>\n
Always a travesty.<\/p>\n
