Listening to the music you left behind is like<\/p>\n
trying to send letters to a stranger in a house<\/p>\n
that won’t be built for centuries and there is<\/p>\n
something to be said for the level of tenacity<\/p>\n
or pure dedication coursing through veins that<\/p>\n
won’t even begin to form for an eternity – literally.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There is a sense of familiarity that cannot\u00a0be<\/p>\n
rationally explained and there is still a<\/p>\n
certain mystery no level of science or<\/p>\n
understanding will ever be able to decode.<\/p>\n
And I would like to be clear – I did not<\/p>\n
sign up for a decade of picking up pieces<\/p>\n
of a puzzle I never even liked in the first place.<\/p>\n
I think I love your ghost more than I\u00a0ever<\/p>\n
even registered you. And maybe\u00a0there’s<\/p>\n
something to be said for the\u00a0choices being<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
made between wishing<\/p>\n
the hummingbirds forever to<\/p>\n
sparkle\u00a0and sanity in a single human being<\/p>\n
bound to the limitations of flesh.<\/p>\n
Do not get confused – every moment<\/p>\n
is a choice and I have made just as many<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
good ones as poor in my quarter-life musing –<\/p>\n
I just know that the showing up will<\/p>\n
outweigh any “mistake” that never<\/p>\n
morphed into full-fledged lesson.<\/p>\n
