As I watched the Barbie movie,
\nI couldn\u2019t help thinking about what our world would be if it was more like it. <\/p>\n
A world where every woman could truly dream to be whatever she wanted.
\nUnfettered by glass ceilings or skeptics, or, in more extreme cases,
\nThreats of violence.
\nOn the contrary, a world in which all men admired, and supported,
\nthe aspirations of their daughters, sisters, or wives. <\/p>\n
A world where women would support, rather than compete with each other,
\nbecause there is space for more than one at the table.
\nWhere each woman treats her sister with the respect and kindness
\nthat she would want for herself, even if she isn\u2019t currently afforded any.
\nAnd together, we can shape a better world each day. <\/p>\n
A world where every woman is considered beautiful, in their unique way.
\nBe it Stereotypical Barbie, Mermaid Barbie, or Weird Barbie.
\nWhere men are not chasing a body fat number or skin color,
\nbut rather a person, flawed, complex, but whole.
\nWhere women are more than just their looks. <\/p>\n
A world that ours strives to be like, no doubt.
\nBut like Barbie discovered when she entered our world,
