I liked closets<\/span><\/p>\n

I could hide away where no one would see me<\/span><\/p>\n

safe inside a small space<\/span><\/p>\n

my mind could fly far away<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then I was fine with closets<\/span><\/p>\n

They kept me safe<\/span><\/p>\n

my secrets locked away inside<\/span><\/p>\n

only a few picking the lock or being allowed to peek inside<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I started to hate closets<\/span><\/p>\n

when people started to die in them<\/span><\/p>\n

I knew it had happened all along<\/span><\/p>\n

but now people I knew<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have become a master of my own closet<\/span><\/p>\n

For some the door is wide open<\/span><\/p>\n

Others, only see the light\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

around the cracks<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am now understanding of closets<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes they protect<\/span><\/p>\n

sometimes they confine<\/span><\/p>\n
