I breathe in time<\/span><\/p>\n

I hate this part of the week<\/span><\/p>\n

but this must be done<\/span><\/p>\n

I disinfect the area<\/span><\/p>\n

ready a second swab if needed<\/span><\/p>\n

Pull the cap from the injection pen<\/span><\/p>\n

and rest it on my thigh<\/span><\/p>\n

I breathe in<\/span><\/p>\n

grip soft fabric<\/span><\/p>\n

and press down<\/span><\/p>\n

healing fire fills my leg as I moan<\/span><\/p>\n

I hold it down<\/span><\/p>\n

count<\/span><\/p>\n

then examine the leg<\/span><\/p>\n

for bleeding from the injection site<\/span><\/p>\n

I sit<\/span><\/p>\n

stare<\/span><\/p>\n

sigh<\/span><\/p>\n
