There she is again,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I saw her last week,<\/p>\n

Taking the same bus as me,<\/p>\n

I have my head phones on,<\/p>\n

Music playing.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do I say anything?<\/p>\n

I probably shouldn’t.<\/p>\n

She’d probably think I am some kind of freak.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But then again,<\/p>\n

She does look smart,<\/p>\n

She’s always so busy reading.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She is looking down at her notes,<\/p>\n

With her hair falling against her hazel cheeks,<\/p>\n

The crack of sunlight falls perfectly against her skin.<\/p>\n

I don’t even think she has any makeup on.<\/p>\n

My gaze can’t help but to fall on her.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Damn it!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I look away immediately.<\/p>\n

I think she saw me looking.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I look again,<\/p>\n

I see her big brown eyes looking at me,<\/p>\n

She has the longest natural lashes I have ever seen,<\/p>\n

She smirks at me and goes back to her notes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Okay just play it cool,<\/p>\n

Act like you didn’t notice that beautiful smile of hers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Check your phone.<\/p>\n

Change this song.<\/p>\n

Look at the driver.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do anything to stop you from showing her how you truly feel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why do I do this?<\/p>\n

She’s just a girl.<\/p>\n

I can talk to her if I want to.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She’s seems out of my league,<\/p>\n

I just want to enjoy this moment in time right now.<\/p>\n

I just want to see her smirk again.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Oh no…<\/p>\n

She pulled the cord.<\/p>\n

It’s her stop.<\/p>\n

She’s leaving.<\/p>\n

Should I do something?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She looks again.<\/p>\n

Smiles at me and walks out.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t even a smirk this time!<\/p>\n

It was a ten watt smile!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But I’m way too late,<\/p>\n

I guess I will have to wait…<\/p>\n

Maybe she’ll come on this bus again some day?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The driver is ready to close the doors,<\/p>\n

But then a few people come running in at the last second.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I run out the back door!<\/p>\n

I don’t know what comes over me.<\/p>\n

I think I lost her in the crowd.<\/p>\n

I’m looking all around…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I turn back to the bus stop,<\/p>\n

It feels like a walk of shame.<\/p>\n

I could’ve spoken to her.<\/p>\n

Maybe we would’ve had a connection.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’m looking at the floor,<\/p>\n

Shoulders shrugged,<\/p>\n

Looking down,<\/p>\n

Kicking the pebbles I see.<\/p>\n

I guess I gave it a shot.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then I look over at the bench,<\/p>\n

And there she is.<\/p>\n

So this conversation finally begins.<\/p>\n
