{"id":17582,"date":"2016-08-13T09:59:19","date_gmt":"2016-08-13T13:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=17582"},"modified":"2016-08-13T23:48:15","modified_gmt":"2016-08-14T03:48:15","slug":"my-demise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/my-demise\/","title":{"rendered":"HOUR 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My Demise<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve often thought and wondered<\/p>\n<p>about my demise.<\/p>\n<p>Will it be gentle<\/p>\n<p>and take me in the night?<\/p>\n<p>Will I find\u00a0what I&#8217;ve been looking for<\/p>\n<p>as I search through the light?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So many thoughts and issues.<\/p>\n<p>I see them sitting there.<\/p>\n<p>Sad little faces\u00a0and<\/p>\n<p>some hands,\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">filled <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">with tissues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I wonder how they&#8217;ll see me<\/p>\n<p>with sadness or joy;<\/p>\n<p>a player in the madness<\/p>\n<p>or a child\u00a0in the void.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I guess the answer<\/p>\n<p>lies, in my untimely<\/p>\n<p>demise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My Demise &nbsp; I&#8217;ve often thought and wondered about my demise.
