Despite the rain that day, I forewent the umbrella.<\/p>\n
After everything, soaked clothes were the least of my concerns.<\/p>\n
Watching them lower him down was the most painful thing I ever had to endure<\/p>\n
But he’ll never know it.<\/p>\n
I lingered\u00a0long after everyone else had left.<\/p>\n
I only wish he had the common courtesy to follow suit.<\/p>\n
Now, here I stand two years later<\/p>\n
with no idea how I made it this far without him.<\/p>\n
Sometimes, I think about jumping in after him<\/p>\n
but then I realize worrying doesn’t suit me.<\/p>\n
I mean he brought us joy long before he took himself from us.<\/p>\n
