Lizard brain working<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A sound in the dark<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Muffled rhythmic<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

clopping on fresh asphalt<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From the north<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Flashlight broken<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Moving in my direction down the road<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What pale rider this way comes?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What meaning?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

My pea brain painted a probable<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Stable down the road<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A horse had thrown its rider<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Was returning home like a cow to its stall<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Programmed<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Archaic<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Slow and steady<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eerie my cat\u2019s eye accustomed to dark watched the white flank move past<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

No rider No saddle <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Horsepower receding to the south<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
