I seek my peace from people’s thoughts<\/p>\n

to escape the pain,<\/p>\n

I hide myself not well at all<\/p>\n

is it in vain?<\/p>\n

Alone and safe,<\/p>\n

it’s how I feel;<\/p>\n

I stay away;<\/p>\n

It’s quiet now,<\/p>\n

turn off the lights<\/p>\n

Lord get me through the day.<\/p>\n

What will they think?<\/p>\n

why should I care?<\/p>\n

from people’s thoughts I flee.<\/p>\n

They think; they stare.<\/p>\n

Why should they care?<\/p>\n

from people’s thoughts I’m free.<\/p>\n
