I was born with a full head of hair<\/p>\n
and I have worn it long<\/p>\n
always<\/p>\n
at 49 and 11\/12ths years old<\/p>\n
my hair is exactly the same<\/p>\n
as when I was 4 and 11\/12ths years old<\/p>\n
long<\/p>\n
straggly<\/p>\n
splittish ends<\/p>\n
brushed only in the morning<\/p>\n
a day’s worth of adventures captured in my hair<\/p>\n
at 4 or 49 my hair looks best braided<\/p>\n
two braids<\/p>\n
nothing fancy, no French braids or fishtail braids<\/p>\n
two braids, one on the left and one on the right, three strands each<\/p>\n
you can sleep in them and wake up the next day<\/p>\n
and do nothing to your hair<\/p>\n
but go out for new adventures<\/p>\n
at 4 I added ribbons of all the colors<\/p>\n
at 49 I add a bandanna of all the colors<\/p>\n
but since the day I was born<\/p>\n
I have waited<\/p>\n
and wanted<\/p>\n
and wished<\/p>\n
for my hair to turn gray<\/p>\n
not above my ears like it is now<\/p>\n
but the full full head of gray hair\u00a0that others want to wash out<\/p>\n
