I once dreamt of a castle by the sea<\/p>\n
Inhabited by an evil queen.<\/p>\n
She locked me up in the tower<\/p>\n
where I used to dream of<\/p>\n
My knight in shining armor,<\/p>\n
Coming to rescue me.<\/p>\n
For hours I would peer out of the<\/p>\n
Tiny window and let out a sigh<\/p>\n
For never did my knight in<\/p>\n
Shining armor come to my side.<\/p>\n
The evil queen, laughed and<\/p>\n
Shouted out a curse,<\/p>\n
“Never will you find true love<\/p>\n
Never will he appear. You’ll forever<\/p>\n
Be lonely and forced to disappear.”<\/p>\n
Looking down from the tower, I<\/p>\n
Saw a man appear<\/p>\n
On a black steed he rode<\/p>\n
His head held high<\/p>\n
I called down to him,<\/p>\n
“Kind sir, Please help me.”<\/p>\n
Only he kept riding.<\/p>\n
“Sir!” Shouted I once more,<\/p>\n
But still he kept going.<\/p>\n
I let out a cry, my tears fell<\/p>\n
To the ground.<\/p>\n
He could not hear my sound.<\/p>\n
The evil queen, she began to laugh<\/p>\n
At my misfortunes.<\/p>\n
“You see my dear,” She called to me<\/p>\n
“He cannot hear you, for you are invisible.”<\/p>\n
Away she went, her cackle echoed through<\/p>\n
My tower. I shan’t cry, I can’t give her power.<\/p>\n
Days went by, the snow fell<\/p>\n
Ice covered the bars on my tower window.<\/p>\n
Silence echoed through my mind.<\/p>\n
I heard the hooves of many a steed<\/p>\n
Come running towards the castle by the sea.<\/p>\n
I cried! I yelled! I shouted! Yet still, no one<\/p>\n
Heard me.<\/p>\n
My head I hung low, my sobs were all that<\/p>\n
I could hear.<\/p>\n
The evil queen, once again came to me<\/p>\n
And laughed at my pitiful self.<\/p>\n
“Once again, you fool,” She bellowed<\/p>\n
“No one can hear your cries.” She<\/p>\n
Flicked her hair and walked down the<\/p>\n
Winding stair, once again her cackle<\/p>\n
Echoed.<\/p>\n
Alone in my tower I sat on my bed,<\/p>\n
Feelings of dread, I longed to be dead.<\/p>\n
What good is it to never be heard?<\/p>\n
What good can come of never being seen?<\/p>\n
Alone I will sit, in my tiny tower<\/p>\n
In the castle by the sea<\/p>\n
Inhabited by the Evil Queen.<\/p>\n
