{"id":2020,"date":"2014-08-23T13:46:30","date_gmt":"2014-08-23T17:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=2020"},"modified":"2014-08-23T14:19:41","modified_gmt":"2014-08-23T18:19:41","slug":"eyes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/eyes\/","title":{"rendered":"Eyes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Her eyes are reflected on my mind<br \/>\nThey light the darkness in my heart<br \/>\nJust a flash and I see her face again<br \/>\nFeel the tingle, feel the charge<\/p>\n<p>Never believed I&#8217;d meet her<br \/>\nNever look into those eyes<br \/>\nWhen she came into my life<br \/>\nLike an angel in the night<br \/>\nShe fills my heart with her light<br \/>\nand now her memory holds me tight, again.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve searched for a night of eternity<br \/>\nSeen her only in my dreams at night<br \/>\nAnd then she came to my reality<br \/>\nDrawing towards me with her eyes<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve seen those eyes before<br \/>\nThose eyes, I&#8217;ve seen them in my dreams<br \/>\nNow I know what their vision means<br \/>\nWe have a life it seems<br \/>\nThe love we share is real<br \/>\nNow can we keep these feelings now and here?<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t believe I would fall in love<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve thought of lessons I had learned<br \/>\nWithout a word she makes me understand<br \/>\nMemories I&#8217;ve already earned<\/p>\n<p>I feel a Spark between us<br \/>\nThat make me realize<br \/>\nWe were meant for each others eyes<br \/>\nAnd now we&#8217;ve made the ties<br \/>\nA communion of our lives<br \/>\nAnd we&#8217;ll not sacrifice the light we share<\/p>\n<p>\u00a9 2014 D.
