I watch as the sun sets before my eyes<\/p>\n
There’s nothing left outside, the ground is burnt<\/p>\n
Instead the inside beckons<\/p>\n
The air conditions outside are stifling<\/p>\n
Instead I’ll eat some ice cream<\/p>\n
Worlds apart just due to a door<\/p>\n
And yet I knew this, I’m still surprised<\/p>\n
It’s as if I’m on an alien planet.<\/p>\n
So rather than running or playing around,<\/p>\n
I’ll just light a candle and make little sound.<\/p>\n
Good morning rambler<\/p>\n
Good night gambler<\/p>\n
Time to rhyme<\/p>\n
As time passes by<\/p>\n
Moonlight lingering mild eyes<\/p>\n
