I have a little handbag
\nThat sits upon my knee
\nBut inside it’s much bigger
\nThan a handbag ought to be<\/p>\n
It takes in bottled water
\nBy the litre. And the pens!
\nHear them rattle in despair
\nOf ever being found again.<\/p>\n
There’s mints and sticking plasters,
\nAnd a glasses-mending tool,
\nNail files, clippers, stamps and tissues,
\nAnd a fan for staying cool.<\/p>\n
Deep in its dark and endless
\nHidden depths there may well be
\nAn old three-volume novel,
\n“Title Pending”, by “L.P.”<\/p>\n
So I pay no attention
\nTo what the labels say;
