I open the door anyway.<\/p>\n
He slips in<\/p>\n
claiming to be here<\/p>\n
only a few minutes.<\/p>\n
But he’s sneaky<\/p>\n
And attacks me where he knows I’m weak.<\/p>\n
He wants to be<\/p>\n
the chains that bind me<\/p>\n
the chains that hold me down<\/p>\n
and stop me from being<\/p>\n
the butterfly I’m meant to be.<\/p>\n
So I dig down deep,<\/p>\n
Deep within my soul.<\/p>\n
And tell<\/p>\n
Fear<\/p>\n
Anxiety<\/p>\n
Angst<\/p>\n
To kick rocks<\/p>\n
and get out of my heart.<\/p>\n
