Now I don&#8217;t know why they&#8217;ve selected such an obscure word. I&#8217;ve got a bit of a bad feeling about this, but what can you do.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>angstrom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the distance of the wave\u2019s<br \/>\nlength is infinitesimally<br \/>\ntiny ; one hundred-millionth<br \/>\nof a centimetre , to be<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>precise ;<br \/>\nit makes you wonder<br \/>\nwhere they get a ruler<br \/>\nthat small \u2014 or at least<br \/>\none where you can still<br \/>\nread the numbers\/<br \/>\nwhaddya mean i\u2019m doing<br \/>\nit on the wrong word<br \/>\na non-cliche poem<br \/>\non the angstrom is what<br \/>\nthe prompt said (hang on<br \/>\ni\u2019ll just go quickly check)<\/p>\n<p><strong>ohhhh i knew this would<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> happen \u2014 i was so\u00a0worried<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>it would \u2014 &amp; surprise<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>(no) surprise it did \u2014 but<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> why does dreadful stuff<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> always happen to me<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> \u2014 the universe is<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> always so foreboding.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> i just wanted to write<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> a few goddamnn poems<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> why does everything<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> have to be so damn<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> uneasy all the time<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0ps :<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> if i wanted a relationship<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> between the emission &amp;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> absorption spectrum<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> of chemical elements<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> i\u2019d have been too scared<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> to ask , but that\u2019s still no<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> reason for giving me one<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This prompt is a little strange.
