I rescue cats – and I have many. Of all the moggies who’ve made it to my farm, Moto is the only cat I’ve never managed to tame. This poem describes our relationship *sigh* <\/p>\n
She hates me so, this little cat;
\nPerfectly pawed, she sits and stares
\nWatching me closely should I move,
\nShe’s ready to race to the nearby hedge. <\/p>\n
Perfectly pawed, she sits and stares;
\nComplete disdain for all I am.
\nShe’s ready to race to the nearby hedge,
\nLeaving my offers of food and love. <\/p>\n

\nI’ve offered her nothing but shelter and more!
\nLeaving my offers of food and love,
\nShe glares at me flatly, then flicks her tail. <\/p>\n

\nHer trust has been broken – that is clear.

\nAnd in a whisper of leaves, she is gone. <\/p>\n
