\nI won a first place reading it in a high school speech contest
\nIt is still one of my favorites.
\nNOW..I will write about the ROAD I’ve TAKEN<\/p>\n

My sins piled up high as a mountain
\nYou said You’ve forgiven them all
\nI was like the Samaritan Woman…
\nso ashamed and feeling small<\/p>\n
You told her about Living Water
\nYou said it would quench her thirst
\nYou gave her a new path to follow
\nto take her away from the Worst<\/p>\n
I, too, was searching for answers
\nwhen the road to recovery appeared
\nin the midst of the valley of heartache
\nI was rescued from what I had feared<\/p>\n
You led me beside streams of water
\nI laid down in the pastures of green
\nI gained strength to climb the mountains
\nfor a view I had never seen<\/p>\n
