WOODEN WALKWAY<\/p>\n

In a Mountain holler<\/p>\n

I decided to walk<\/p>\n

I didn’t want distractions<\/p>\n

I didn’t want to talk.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I came upon a wooden walkway<\/p>\n

strange among the trees.<\/p>\n

I decided to diverge,<\/p>\n

which is not like me at all<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’m a stubborn\u00a0sort\u00a0of man<\/p>\n

who can’t follow\u00a0the flow.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hidden\u00a0birds<\/p>\n

stressed with song<\/p>\n

warned \u00a0others\u00a0I was<\/p>\n

here.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The wooden walkway<\/p>\n

I had chosen<\/span><\/p>\n

opened up, <\/span><\/p>\n

to a\u00a0<\/span>spectacular\u00a0view.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of which,\u00a0I would have liked<\/p>\n

to share my love\u00a0with you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The birds are quiet now<\/p>\n

I no longer pose a threat<\/p>\n

maybe I’ll stay here<\/p>\n

I’m a PTSD\u00a0Vet.<\/p>\n
