I live a quiet life.<\/p>\n

I’m a mostly quiet wife in a necessarily quiet house \u2013<\/p>\n

I’d rather be alone than in a group,<\/p>\n

I operate better that way.<\/p>\n

but that’s the tricky part.<\/p>\n

the voices in my head —<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

you’re not [________] enough<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

a record that never stops playing, although the voices vary in nature.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

sometimes repetitive,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

sometimes demeaning<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

sometimes deprecating<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Always present.<\/p>\n

In my quest for quietness,<\/p>\n

In my search for solitude,<\/p>\n

I found it.<\/p>\n
