I dodged ends of buildings<\/p>\n
and non-roads<\/p>\n
to walk.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A kind couple<\/p>\n
originally<\/p>\n
from one of my homes<\/p>\n
queried me, astounded.<\/p>\n
Strange, I thought.<\/p>\n
I can\u2019t be the only one<\/p>\n
with a crush on the lake.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A few hours later<\/p>\n
rain set in.<\/p>\n
On this lake<\/p>\n
I, a rain hater,<\/p>\n
became its lover:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moist with drops,<\/p>\n
filmed with spray<\/p>\n
cresting to waves,<\/p>\n
blessing urban winds<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and hailing their fogged deities.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
