So figured I would do something lighter! Saving the other poem for later.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You are a two minute gateway to an explosion of tastes<\/p>\n<p>Caramelized with Iranian dates on a cold winter evening<\/p>\n<p>Or served with kiwi and pineapple in a summer paradise<\/p>\n<p>Classic with blueberry or strawberries and honey<\/p>\n<p>Or plain and simple apple, cinnamon and dry fruits<\/p>\n<p>Often sweet, but sometimes savory<\/p>\n<p>Mushroom and cheddar, or onions and bell peppers anyone?<\/p>\n<p>With a dash or oregano, parsley and salt?<\/p>\n<p>At first glance, you may be plain and uninteresting<\/p>\n<p>But\u00a0once adorned<\/p>\n<p>You are a bowl of absolute pleasure<\/p>\n<p>Keeping my taste buds and waist bags in check<\/p>\n<p>The god of my kitchen, my solace on rough college days<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I tried really hard to write something for my mom, but cannot do anything justice in this time frame.
