She\u2019d killed before. So,<br \/>\noff with her head.<br \/>\nHer daintiness dried up quick. Her skin sloughed into dark blue scales.<br \/>\nHer fangs out yea\u2019 big.<\/p>\n<p>She said a lot before the head snap.<br \/>\nThat there were few active aswangs now<br \/>\nThe humans are killing themselves<br \/>\nToo kill even more was depressing<\/p>\n<p>I hear ya! I said.<br \/>\nWrapping my rope tightly around her.<br \/>\nAswangs can be slippery little bugs changin\u2019 shape<br \/>\nThen Bam! They\u2019re gone.<\/p>\n<p>She said she deserved to die for the sins she\u2019d done.<br \/>\nI\u2019d never heard one talk like that before.<br \/>\nShe said I looked tired.<br \/>\nTired of yer mouth, Missus!<\/p>\n<p>She gave me a severe stare.<br \/>\nTold me I needed to go home.<br \/>\nStrange one, that one.<br \/>\nLike I say, off with her head.<\/p>\n<p>That was three weeks ago, twenty towns before this one.<br \/>\nThis next one &#8211;<br \/>\nA jazz musician. Famous sunava-<br \/>\nCan you believe it?<\/p>\n<p>*An Aswang (or Asuwang) is a shapeshifting monster usually possessing a combination of the traits of either a vampire, a ghoul, a warlock\/witch, or different species of werebeast in Filipino folklore or even all of them together.
