I wait until the shadows come,<\/p>\n

And darkness fills this space.<\/p>\n

I venture out into the streets,<\/p>\n

To avoid a familiar face.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I had a life, I had a job<\/p>\n

and even money too!<\/p>\n

But life can throw up hurdles<\/p>\n

An even for you too!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do not judge me by my look-<\/p>\n

My tangled greasy hair!<\/p>\n

I once wore a crown with jewels<\/p>\n

Holding back my golden hair.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My skin was once like butter<\/p>\n

Creamy and soft to the touch<\/p>\n

My fingers were decorated and painted<\/p>\n

But now they do not look like much.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I once spoke to many and<\/p>\n

Now heard by very few-<\/p>\n

My only audience being those<\/p>\n

I wish I never knew.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I had a life, I had a job<\/p>\n

I had more than even you.<\/p>\n

Please do not judge me based<\/p>\n

On facts you never knew.<\/p>\n
