The anesthesia<\/p>\n
I knew it through the blindness<\/p>\n
The blackness<\/p>\n
The fear<\/p>\n
I knew it through the sleepless nights<\/p>\n
The bad dreams<\/p>\n
The others’ screams<\/p>\n
I knew it through singing Hey Jude<\/p>\n
In the same hospital<\/p>\n
John Lennon took his final breath<\/p>\n
I knew it was not here where I would take mine<\/p>\n
I knew there was more to do<\/p>\n
I knew there was more to be<\/p>\n
I knew there was something to learn<\/p>\n
I knew I had been given the chance<\/p>\n
