No bones to break and splinter.<\/p>\n<p>No memory to forget, only oblivion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>White moon beach of my dreams.\u00a0Like a Cheshire cat grins.<\/p>\n<p>Pulling me with mystery.\u00a0What waits on the other side?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I bleed my consciousness down to the last ounce.\u00a0Suck every wonderful drop<\/p>\n<p>Hazy eyelids droop.\u00a0Wake and find a word.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe two.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The dogs bark and skitter across the room.\u00a0Awake again for a while,<\/p>\n<p>The grin winks into the distance,\u00a0but only for a bit.<\/p>\n<p>It stalks from the shadows and corners of my mind.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Soundlessly wandering the beaches of dreams Grey waters sweep the sand out from under my feet and wash me away.
