\nFor a minute I wanted to believe
\nYou stepped away for a breeze,
\nNow I cry about you,

\nNormal doesn’t feel right,
\nMy life is way off track.
\nI tried to find closure in this,
\nBut nothing makes sense,
\nThe more I hear the phone and the news, I battle with stress and be tense.
\nI have searched everywhere,
\nHoping to find you by mistake,
\nI didn’t even have the heart
\nTo celebrate your birthday with cake.
\nI can’t bear the thought of settling with you to never return,

\nMy anger numbs me while my heart and emotions burn.
