Want is a word I use sparingly.<br \/>\nDisappointment waited for you, boy,<br \/>\nyou stood her up.<br \/>\nBad plan,<br \/>\nbut now it&#8217;s hers to deal with<br \/>\nfor her days of quiet<br \/>\nreading in her apartment<br \/>\nmade of years and old woods<br \/>\nalready cut<br \/>\nfor use<br \/>\nand we cannot fight function.<br \/>\nShrill noises snap me back.<br \/>\nItems hold memories<br \/>\nand from memories<br \/>\nwe gather magic<br \/>\nand usefulness<br \/>\nbeyond use of word.<br \/>\nBut understanding runs.<br \/>\nHope is fleet,<br \/>\nI should know,<br \/>\nmy feet hurt from running<br \/>\nand I hold you<br \/>\nclose though I don&#8217;t know<br \/>\nwhy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tell them what they need to hear Lie to them Tell them you&#8217;re not drunk so you can drive away from them and go where you&#8217;re wanted.
