Beating and pounding, keeping me alive,<\/p>\n
Without realization of how it helps me survive,<\/p>\n
Taking my old blood , and making it nice and new,<\/p>\n
It is quite amazing , of what a heart can do.<\/p>\n

Pumping my blood, through my veins for me,<\/p>\n
Speeds up fast, when I’m nervous you see,<\/p>\n
My heart hurts , when someone hurts me so,<\/p>\n
It often gives me signs, for things I need to know.<\/p>\n

We often take for granted what our bodies can truly do,<\/p>\n
How fast it heals after all we put it through,<\/p>\n
Whether it is a running marathon, and get body aches,<\/p>\n
Or a poetry marathon, and giving it all it takes.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Our heart keeps on beating, when our mind wants to quit,<\/p>\n
It works super hard, as we work hard to get fit,<\/p>\n
Every day our heart pumps gallons of blood, \u00a0for us to live,<\/p>\n
A awesome factor we some times forget, our heart credit we should give.<\/p>\n
