I’ll concede, I will show you mine if you show me yours<\/p>\n

But I promise when I open myself up, there won’t be anything pretty living inside<\/p>\n

nothing you will want to take home to your parents<\/p>\n

or display on your wall<\/p>\n

or in front of your friends<\/p>\n

I promise there won’t be flowers or sunrises<\/p>\n

There won’t be oos and ahhs that will drop you to your knees<\/p>\n

But a certain darkness that might seduce you<\/p>\n

Disguised as poetry, wet sticky words<\/p>\n

attached to my core<\/p>\n

waiting to picked and displayed for you<\/p>\n

I will show you mine, but I dont think you will like it<\/p>\n
