There’s a rhythm in my chest,<\/p>\n
beating out a tune, one of my best,<\/p>\n
it’s the closest beat to me, it keeps me alive,<\/p>\n
(even when I’ve never took it for a test drive).<\/p>\n

I was a born with a heart,<\/p>\n
not just to drive me to Walmart,<\/p>\n
(even when the reckless drivers<\/p>\n
have made numerous people heart attack survivors).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Frankenstein didn’t have a heart,<\/p>\n
(someone probably had to give him a kick start),<\/p>\n
but I do, and I don’t know what I’d do without it,<\/p>\n
I’ll have to admit.<\/p>\n

My heart is my closest beat,<\/p>\n
and it didn’t come with an iTunes receipt,<\/p>\n
so there’s really no downside,<\/p>\n
